- Kanwar jheel :- In 1989 Begusarai district became home to the Kanwarjheel Wildlife Sanctuary, which has an area of 63 km2 (24.3 sq mi). Many migratory birds came to habitat here during Winter season (Nov. – Feb.)

Simaria Mela, which is also known as Kalpwas Mela is organised on the bank of river Ganga at Simaria Ghat during October – November every year. It attracts thousands of devotees not just from India but from Bhutan and Nepal as well.
Kaali Mandir is most famous temple of Begusarai hence there after that the chowk is named after it it’s one side opposite is the Lohia gate of Pokhariya.There’s a biggest history ever for Begusarai lies behind this and a lot balis are being given here in respected days.
Jai Mangala temple is also famous as Shaktipeeth among locals and devotees come to offer their prayers and get blessings of deity from distant places and also feeding Hanumaan (Monkeys) after getting blessed.
